Apple Console? Huh?

Apparently I'm a few days behind on this rumor but I don't see any discussion here about Cult of Mac's rumored Apple console. Here's a link to the article

Does anyone out there have any reason to believe this rumor? Seems pretty out there but it's fun to think/speculate about. What are your thoughts?
