The oddly named but magnificent Superbrothers: Swords & Sworcery EP was a surprise hit for iOS last year, combining an excellent soundtrack, a humorous script, wonderful retro-bit graphics, and some classic old-school adventure gaming into a thoroughly enjoyable package. The only downside is that the game is only available to owners of the iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, but rumor has it the game might make its way to another audience by virtue of a release on Steam. The Indie Game Magazine found evidence of this possible release through a website that tracks registrations on Steam — historically, this has meant that the registered game is about a week away from release. While this is no guarantee, IGM notes that this tool hasn't let it down in the past. We certainly hope it's accurate this time — as many people as possible should give this game a shot.
