Android 4.0.4 update for Nexus S
I waited for a month or so before installing the Android 4.0.3 update manually on my Nexus S using the official builds from Google servers following the methods from XDA.
Now, I realize that I cannot install the 4.0.4 build because of some changes made by Google.
XDA users suggest different ways to get around this block. Most of them involve rooting the device and installing some custom ROM recovery software.
My question is simple. Would Google update the Nexus S devices that were updated to ICS manually? I have the T-Mobile edition of Nexus S that was sold in the US market just after the official launch.
