Bad, bad sectors.
So I have a 1TB HDD that is out of warranty, and it seems to have a bad sector. I've tried DBAN-ing it but that didn't work, so it looks like it's a physical bad sector.
I don't keep any important data (Just music/movies/games) that can be ripped again or tied to my Steam account.
Right now the drive is empty (Obviously after the DBAN attempt) and I was wondering if it's possible to tell the drive to ignore the bad sector(s) and just use the nice ones.
