Has apple given up on iTunes?

Like my title states have they just stopped caring about the quality of iTunes? The program seems to get worse and worse every I get an update for it and I keep downloading every update hoping that it will fix my problems but it only seems to make them more pronounced. Here are my two main problems I have with the program.

-itunes randomly won't sync certain songs from albums. They're on my macbook, in my itunes, but just absolutely refuse to sync to my iphone. Sometimes I have all the songs from an album on my iphone (thank god) but then I get some new music and go to sync my iphone with itunes. Later on i discover that itunes has taken off half of the songs on a couple albums. WHY DOES IT DO THIS??? So many people seem to have the same problem as me according to the forum posts and support threads I've found on google, yet there is basically no fix. I've tried everything that the support techs have said and nothing has worked...except for one thing suggested by an apple employee: To delete my entire itunes library. I've done this once but I will never do it again. Its just a complete bitch to go through all that every time. Also I used to be able to just "restore" my iphone and it would put ALL of my music on my device, but now even that long and tedious method won't work.

-And why does itunes ask me to sign in with my apple id MULTIPLE times every single f*cking time I open it? Its annoying enough to have to sign in once every time, don't make me do it 5 times just so I can play a single song. (it usually just asks my twice, but a couple of times i've had to do it about 5 times. and yes I'm typing it correctly) I've Seriously seen people posting about this on the apple support community for since 2007. Really??? its been 5 years guys and we still have this problem? I've tried all the fixes that have been suggested on the support site and pretty much everywhere else on the internet. I fixed it once a while ago, but then I made the mistake of updating itunes and now it seems that I'm doomed to be typing in my password repeatedly for the rest of my life.

-All I want is a program that will sync ALL of my music to my iphone and not bother me multiple times to sign into my account when I've already signed in. (and why the hell do I need to sign in anyway?) I honestly had an easier time with itunes when I had my 3rd generation ipod(yea the badass one with all the touch buttons) running on windows 8 YEARS ago. I've always liked itunes for its music organization, but its just been getting worse and worse over the years and something needs to change.
