Chrome and Firefox usurping Internet Explorer in certain regions
Although Internet Explorer held its majority — albeit steadily shrinking — market share for global browser usage in April, a new post from Pingdom illustrates that Microsoft has already been trumped by Google and Mozilla in certain regions. Citing StatCounter, the company has compiled usage data for North America, Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and Oceania into a series of charts that illustrate which browsers were most popular in each area and detail the most commonly used versions of each.
