Exciting day, exciting times...
With all of the news about cloud services today, I thought I would post a few thoughts here.
First of all, if you've been using SkyDrive for awhile now (I think as of 4/22?) and you haven't done so already, you should visit your account so that you can confirm you want to keep the 25GB of storage space for free.
Second, it's neat watching the companies compete, especially since MS is starting to make more noise again. I'm hoping MS has a successful year with WinPhone and Win8 (when it comes out). I haven't kept up with all of the sales figures of the Lumias, Titans, etc. but I hope we have a valid 3rd option in the mobile space now (maybe some of you think we already do). One of these days I'll make it to an AT&T store to play with the Lumia. I think once Win8 comes out and more people see and experience Metro in action, WP sales should increase. I've been running into more people now with WinPhones and they seem to be happy with them which is a good sign.
Now, I still plan on sticking with my MBP and I plan to buy an iPad one day, but to have SkyDrive apps for Apple devices is cool. I'm going to download the app for my Mac when I can. But I wanted to drop by to share some good feelings and thoughts with MS fans today with the news and reviews coming out. I remember the posts after the Lumia review...dang haha...geez. So be happy MS fans. Cheers all...
