iPhone 4s battery life
Figured I may be able to get some intelligent people replying if I posted here on this topic....I'm not an iPhone user myself, but we give them to all our employees due to the fact that they just "work". Our CEO went on a rant this afternoon about how his new 4s battery life was terrible. I took a look, and found that it was pretty much vanilla (facebook, and several other apps), and he didn't have wifi on...bluetooth was. He had ~4 hours of standby, ~2 hours talk time, and about 37% battery left. Another one of our employees that recently got a 4s joined the discussion complaining of the same thing, showing me that her phone had pretty much sat idle all day and only had 45% battery left. Both are on 5.1.
Anyone have any tips other than the "turn off wifi/bluetooth/location services/etc."? Both said their old iPhone 4 were dramatically better with battery life. I have an old 4 at my desk that I use to help out employees and dev purposes from time to time, and that thing amazes me with it's standby time. My old Evo in comparison today, with moderate use throughout the day is sitting at 80%, which is what I would deem to be acceptable.
Do some of the 4s models have a defective battery, which may be resolved by getting it replaced at the Apple store?
Thanks Core.
