HTC One S for T-Mobile: review, price, availability and more
HTC announced a handful of new devices at MWC 2012 in Barcelona, but only one is coming to T-Mobile customers: the One S, a super-slim smartphone with high-end specs, Android 4.0, and one wild production technique to its name. The phone went on sale April 25th, for $199 plus a two-year contract.

T-Mobile promises fix for HTC One S Wi-Fi calling battery drain
T-Mobile has said that a fix is on the way for an issue that affects the HTC One S' battery life when using the Wi-Fi calling feature. We hadn't heard much about the problem ourselves, and didn't run into it in our review, but the carrier says that it'll be resolved in a forthcoming software update anyway. In the meantime, T-Mobile advises keeping your phone plugged in when making calls over Wi-Fi. No word on when that update will be released, but it's good to see the carrier getting ahead of...
HTC One S for T-Mobile coming April 25th for $199.99 on contract
Lo and behold, the rumors were true. The HTC One S is coming to T-Mobile next week on Wednesday, April 25th. The price will be $199.99 (on a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in-rebate, of course). The 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED device with Android 4.0 and HTC's Sense 4 will run on the carrier's HSPA+ 42 network and come with the full version of "Where's My Water?" featuring ten additional, exclusive levels.
We spoke briefly with T-Mobile reps who confirmed with us that this will be a "hero"...
HTC and T-Mobile holding One S event April 18th
We've known for a while that HTC's One S was coming to T-Mobile, but both carrier and manufacturer had been mum on when exactly the ultrathin phone would arrive. Then an invitation arrived in our inboxes for an event on April 18th, inviting us to "be amongst the first to experience the HTC One S." That doesn't necessarily mean the release itself is imminent — though it does make the rumored April 25th launch date seem a little more likely — but it definitely seems to be sooner rather than...
HTC One S launching on T-Mobile April 25th?
TmoNews is reporting that HTC's One S will be released on T-Mobile in just over a couple of weeks — Wednesday, April 25th, to be precise. The site had previously reported the same date, but now it's backing up its claims with photo evidence from an internal T-Mobile training document. According to the document, pricing and availability are set to be officially announced on the 16th. It also reveals aspects of T-Mobile's marketing plan for the device — it sounds like the carrier will be...
HTC One S review
Note: Our original review was of the unlocked, GSM One S. We've updated the review with impressions and tests of the $199 (with contract) T-Mobile model as well. Check out the Hardware, Connectivity and Software sections to see the biggest differences between the two devices, which are generally quite similar.
When I first saw the HTC One series, in that top secret subterranean bunker where HTC likes to preview its phones, my attention and desire were immediately drawn by the One S. I didn't...
T-Mobile USA announces HTC One S for spring launch
While AT&T has landed the One X as an exclusive,T-Mobile USA says it'll be the first carrier in the US to launch the One X's thinner cousin, the One S. Like the AT&T-branded X, the S features a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4, which should really scream since it's based on Qualcomm's new Krait architecture, but this phone opts for a smaller 4.3-inch AMOLED display at qHD resolution. The lower-res screen isn't without its reward: the One S is just 7.95mm thick, becoming T-Mobile's thinnest smartphone and...
HTC One S official: 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0, thinnest HTC phone ever
The long-awaited launch of HTC's next mainstream superstar phone is upon us and its name is the One S. Eschewing the tired motifs that have characterized HTC design over the past year, the 4.3-inch One S looks bold, distinctive, and extremely slim. Its software is right up to date, shipping with Android 4.0 plus added Sense 4.0 skinning, it features a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and its 8-megapixel camera is the same as on the HTC One X. Combining an f/2.0 lens with a backside-illuminated...
