Google has updated its YouTube app for Google TV with a few basic usability features that bring it a little closer to its browser-based counterpart. The updated app will now provide video recommendations in the My YouTube tab, and displays them and other playlists in a grid layout. Google has also made its YouTube channels on Google TV searchable, after adding channel pages in its last update in February. Finally, the update now allows Google+ sharing within the YouTube app.
