Replace iPad+low end smartphone with a giant Android: crazyness?
Hey guys,
I'm not exactly a "mobile user" since I work at home. Thus, I barely use my smartphone, but when I do it drives me crazy (it's a simple and slow Galaxy 5; I'm not sure if it was released in the US). Problem is, being a casual user, I always give up from buying a good, expensive new phone — after all, what's the point on paying a lot for something I won't use that much?
But... Now there are a couple of available smartphones with GIANT displays, what made me think: wouldn't one of those replace the iPad for my needs? The idea is ditch the combo iPad+Galaxy 5 and get a Galaxy Nexus or HTC One X. (I don't consider Galaxy Note 'cause it's really, really big; I'm looking for something that fits on my pocket.)
On the iPad, I basically read a lot, skim and publish some stuff on social networks and watch videos. From all of these activities, I guess only the last one would have a true negative impact — go from 9,7" to 4,7" is kind dramatic.
So, what you think?
Thanks for your attention!
