The teardown is a requisite rite of passage for any hotly-anticipated gadget, and the Nokia Lumia 900 is no different. TechRepublic has done the honors in this case, prying apart the device's polycarbonate shell to reveal the 1.4GHz Snapdragon SoC, 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of storage within. While there aren't any hardware surprises in store — we've known the basic specs of the Windows Phone device since CES — the Lumia 900 is notably easy to open, utilizing a simple locking pin nestled beside the SIM card slot to hold the device together. The site's impressions after disassembly are that Nokia had to limit hardware specs in order to hit the phone's low price — but with Windows Phone itself being the biggest obstacle in our experience, it's hard to know if a low price will be enough.
