I feel that the Lumia 800 is the best Windows Phone you can get right now, for more reasons than one.
Firstly, the phone looks beautiful. It is one of the best looking phones out there, managing to not only look the part, but feel the part too. The performance is fantastic too. You may think a single core 1.4GHz processor would be Slug City, but the Lumia very rarely lags, freezes or crashes, something I can't really say the same for similar Android phones. The display is also great. Colours look fantastic, viewing angles are superb and text does look pretty crisp, despite the 480x800 resolution.
However, if I were to have some gripes, it would be with Windows Phone itself, in some way. The actual OS is very good, managing to be both good looking and responsive almost all the time. However, the app library isn't so much barren as it is limited. Some apps just aren't on Windows Phone, whether they be games or other applications. Sure, this may improve later once developers start getting into Windows Phone, but right now, while you will have stuff like Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare etc., you won't be getting some of the things you do get on Android and iOS.
