Can Android get the correct time?
In the most recent episode of On The Verge Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson explains that Android phones are all actually 15 seconds behind the actual time. This is due to the 15 leap seconds that have come since 1982, and are not accounted for by the GPS systems that Android phones get their time from. iPhones, on the other hand, account for the 15 seconds and display the correct time. The part I'm mentioning comes from minute 56-58.
I want to know if there is any way to compensate for these 15 seconds on Android and get the correct time. Anyone?
