Lumia 900 Battery Life
Is anyone else really impressed with the Lumia's battery life so far? My Dell Venue Pro, also running Mango, seemed to bring the battery to 20% (aka when 'Battery Saver' mode is set to kick in) in 6 hours or so with my normal usage, which includes a small amount of streaming audio, 3 email accounts set to push, connected to Windows Live Messenger / Facebook messenger all day, connected to Yahoo, Gtalk, AIM via IM+ all day, plus some web browsing and occasional gaming. This of course meant that whenever I was at my desk at work, I'd have to charge my phone so that I could make it a full day.
On the Lumia 900, I've had the same usage pattern all day, except with 2 hours of streaming music (more than on my DVP), and instead of being on AT&T HSPA+, I've been connected to LTE all day. I just hit 20% after ten hours without topping off the battery at all.
I know that this is just one day, and also just anecdotal evidence, but for me personally, that makes me very impressed by the battery. Yes, the battery is also physically larger than the one on the DVP, but I really don't care about that as long as it lasts enough. I'll still probably try to keep the phone on the charger at my desk, but it's refreshing to not need to.
