May Critique Thread: Days 1 - 5 - Closed
We're trying something new for the month of May. We will be having weekly critique threads, starting on Sundays and finishing on Saturdays (when applicable). After each week, a new thread will be created. This is hopefully going to make the critique threads more manageable, more accessible and more fun for all.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Give (constructive) criticism to at least two of the most recent photos (though we prefer you stay active throughout the whole life of the thread) and then post one of your own. Post photos as a reply to the OP and post critiques as replies to photos. This should keep things nice and clean.
Selfprofessedgeek has kindly outlined how to post images from imgur or Flickr. Click on those links for a short and painless tutorial.
Don't explain what's in your shot, leave all the interpretation to your critics! Do however, include technical details of the photo such as:
- Focal Length (If you post a 35mm equivalent, please make special note of it in your post)
- Aperture
- Shutter Speed
- ISO
- Camera Model
Don't worry if you're not experienced in photography, the aim of this thread is to learn from each other. A simple "I like this and this about your photo" will suffice.
Have fun, and try to play nice!
