What will come out of the MS / Nook deal?
A lot of people are speculating a Nook tablet running Windows 8. While it seems unlikely, I don't think that it would be too hard to do. The only major thing to do would be to up the screen resolution.
What I think is a lot more likely is that there will be a Nook Books selection in the Windows 8 and Windows Phone marketplace.
Other possibilities would be some sort of integration with MS PubCenter for a subsidized device, or building something completely new.
Does anyone know if the Nook brand would have any patents in its portfolio that MS would be after?
