fast and secure file sync?
The release of Google Drive gave me a thought, maybe I could benefit from such a service. I tried Google Drive, it felt slow and syncing took quite a while so I decided to broaden my horizons.Dropbox was next, that seemly trusty company that has been around since the birth of commercial file sync, again slow speeds left something to be desired. Finally I tried Skydrive, while it felt simple and easy to use - almost basic. Unfortunately SkyDrive had the same problem as the previous 2 - slow.
Feeling a little less enthused, I thought I try a file hosting service. After some quick research 'Dump Truck' is the service I landed on first. To my surprise they're amazingly fast. The problem with Dump Truck is there is no software and hence no sync, just a simple yet somewhat intuitive website.
All 3 sync services I tested are what I deem horribly slow with uploads. Having said that I must admit I certainly have access to far greater speed than the majority;
So I guess my question is, what fast and secure syncing services exist?
