Nokia's Reading for Windows Phone app is rolling out to select markets this week, exclusively on the company's range of Lumia handsets. France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the UK will receive the app first, with other countries to follow over the course of the year.
Originally unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, Reading provides access to an ebook store and works with the company's Nokia account in a similar way to the existing Music application. In-app purchasing of ebooks is available and Nokia plans to update the application to provide RSS new stream support that will allow Nokia Lumia users to pin news publications to their home screen and more. Nokia Reading will be available in the Nokia Collection part of the Windows Phone Marketplace over the coming weeks.
