Pay as you Go in the UK (London)

I recently learned that I will be spending some time in London this summer for a special project! Suffice to say, I'm very happy to have yet another opportunity to spend some time abroad. Back in 2009, I was a consultant and traveled to London for ~5months and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Back then, I was able to get a T-Mobile pay as you go SIM and use that with my smartphone at the time (a Windows Mobile phone). Plans were quite cheap, and I had enough of a data allowance to use.
Fast forward to now. What's my best option for a prepaid sim when I visit the UK again this summer? I have been using an unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus which I know will work just fine. I anticipate needing data the most, followed by texts. Some voice minutes would be appreciated as well. I will be in London for 2-3 weeks at a time. Any thoughts?
