Facebook launches Pages Manager app for iOS
Facebook users that manage brand pages may soon be getting a new tool for iOS. First reported by 9to5Mac, Facebook has released a new app called Pages Manager, which allows users to compose posts, view recent fan activity, and access engagement statistics on the fly. While the standard Facebook app offers some control over brand pages, a user must first link it to their personal account, creating security concerns for larger corporations and organizations. The app is currently available in select regions as a free download via iTunes. Whether or not the company is preparing a similar companion app for Android remains unclear.
