It's a phone I really wanted to like, and to be frank, this device isn't about the hardware. The software is the primary focus here, and it's great. The unfortunate side of that is that ICS fails to outweigh the issues I took with the hardware.

The industrial design is competent, but certainly not great, the battery door is somewhat creaky at times though it does feel relatively solid. The display is the first point where I take serious issue with. PenTile isn't a huge concern here, the real issue is display quality. Over three units I experienced severe uniformity issues, with one unit exhibiting banding issues and all three exhibiting varying degrees of image retention. It might be 720p and it might look nice at first glance but if you have any sort of discerning eye, it's nowhere near good enough.

If you can look past the seemingly common display issues, it might work for you. Performance is snappy, battery life is par for the course and the selection of holo-themed apps is getting better by the day. However, if you want top flight hardware to go a long with the stock ICS experience, look elsewhere,. custom ROMs might be your friend.
