The Tech Forum Constitution: Where We Ban The Word Fanboy
Article I: We The Techies Shall Not Use Ad Hominem in Ad Nauseum
All techies possess the right to their own technological beliefs. So therefore, we ban the use of these discriminating words: fanboy, fanbois, sheep and troll. (We should also ban the use of blinkie eye and by blinkie eye I mean ----> ;). Come on, who really winks in real life. Probably only when you have something caught in them.) If you have to intentional insult someone be creative about. You'r a techie. Take pride in it that fact. Be original.
Article II: Just Because You Say It Doesn't Make It True
If you are going to present a point on view, try your hardest to use actual facts. Facts are our friends. It is highly suggested that you have strong opinions. That's the nature of being a techie. But listing credible sources to support certain views helps the whole community as well as your own credibility.
Article III: Where Da Ladies At
There is a high ratio of male to female in the tech nation. Is it that men have a higher proclivity to be techies or something else? I love equality and we need to solve this. So our ever ongoing responsibility is to spread this disease to others. Make sure it spreads to your girlfriends, your moms, your sisters, your daughters. The more the merrier.
Article IV: Mockups
I personally believe you're not fully living up to your potential until you create something. Bringing an idea into fruition is a fantastic joy. Mockups are you saying "hmmph I'd like this to be like that and this is how I would like it to look like." And everybody loves them cause it expresses ideas in the way most of us learn. Visually.
Article V: New Articles & Amendments
The Techie Constitution is a living constitution. New articles are encouraged and amendments to existing ones will be considered and voted on through community consensus. Being creative, original is highly recommended. God and or Science bless the Techies and the potential new comers to this great tech nation.
Article VI: Do your research
All techies should make it their duty to either question every negative report, or before making a negative claim fully research it so you are not contributing to FUD and the overabundance of misinformation. By AbsoluteDesingz.
