Die-hard Android fan, just got an iPad, help me out :)

Hey Appletonians! I love Android through and through. However, a family friend who works at Apple just gave us an ipad. I wanted to ask you guys some questions.

First off, I wanted to ask how I can tell if it is an ipad 2, or the New iPad. I am thinking he got the new ipad and gave us his ipad 2, which is fine, it looks great and will be plenty for me.

And then of course this thing is still on 4.3.4, so I guess I need to plug it into iTunes and update it right? Also, is there siri on the ipad at all?

Then of course I need tips and tricks from you guys. Tell me all about this magical ipad and how I can take advantage of it, whether it be apps or other things.

If you think of anything else, let me know. Since I am heavily into the Google ecosystem I will install the gmail app, the google search app, etc. Maybe some games like draw something or temple run and scramble. Let me know what else I should do.
