Apple reportedly selling Nest Learning Thermostats in its retail stores 'soon'
Both iLounge and 9to5Mac are reporting that Apple will be selling the Nest Learning Thermostat in its retail stores very soon. The device will reportedly cost $249, the same amount Nest charges on its own website, though we don't know exactly when it's expected to be be available. Neither company has commented on the reports, but the connection between Apple and Nest isn't too much of a stretch — after all, Nest was founded by Tony Fadell, creator of the iPod. The thermostat has been available since last year, and last month saw its first major app update and the inclusion of a new energy-saving mode.
