Qualcomm S4 overtaken in terms of raw performance

First, I'd like to make one thing certain: Qualcomm S4 is NOT Cortex-A15. Qualcomm isn't a full ARM licensee, and they only have the license to the base architecture (ARMv7), while Cortex is the chip design series. Qualcomm build their own designs, like Krait, that are binary compatible to other chips but differ in many key aspects. So, in short, Qualcomm S4 Krait is NOT Cortex-A15, but it shares some features with it.

That said, one fact that emerged from the Galaxy S III review was that it surpasses the mighty Qualcomm S4 in terms of raw performance, both in terms of GPU and CPU.

Do note the fact that Vellamo and Antutu scores were low because they couldn't account for the extra increase in fps during GPU benchmarking (Vlad has mentioned this in the review too). The GLBenchmarks and Quadrant scores give a better indication.

There you have it. There's a new SoC king in town. What do you guys think? If this is any indication, I can't wait for Exynos 5 with REAL Cortex A15 which should be WAY faster.
