Canadians have reason to celebrate today, as Nest Labs has announced that its Learning Thermostat is now available in the country through the Nest website. The Tony Fadell-designed thermostat has been available since last year, though only in the US until now. Those North of the border can order the device now for $249 USD, and Nest says that it's also offering professional installation services in the country for buyers. That'll set you back $119 USD, plus an additional $25 for each extra thermostat. To go along with the thermostat, the iOS and Android apps are also now available for Canadians to use with their newly-purchased Learning Thermostats — so if you've been looking forward to advancing your home climate controls, now's a good time. Don't worry — Nest assured us that it works in Celsius. As for when we might see Nest in more countries, the company's blog unfortunately says that there's no news yet for Europeans.
