A Chinese edition of Microsoft's Windows 8 Release Preview, due in the first week of June, has leaked ahead of its official debut. ISO files for an 8400 build of Windows 8 have been circulating on Chinese forums and bit torrent websites for most of the day, with successful installations confirmed. The build contains updated Windows 8 Metro style apps, including new Sports, Travel, and News apps. Microsoft has also reportedly updated the boot screen, cursors, and wallpapers for Release Preview alongside a new variant of Aero (before it gets killed off for RTM) and some desktop improvements for users of multiple monitors.

Microsoft has promised to introduce its Windows 8 Release Preview in the first week of June, but the company has not provided an exact release date. Although a Chinese copy is clearly circulating online, many will be eager to download an official English copy. Microsoft is due to hold a keynote at Computex on June 6th designed to focus on future Windows 8 hardware, but it's entirely possible that we'll see an English Release Preview officially or via less legitimate routes before then.
