ICS Unlock Issue
I have a slight issue with ICS that confuses me. I have a Nexus S by the way. Before ICS, unlocking was two step process and I loved that. Slide to unlock and then input my pin knowing that it would be unlocked for 10mins before I had to enter it again. It made being in a gtalk conversation or even a text a lot easier and I knew that my phone wouldn't have any phantom touches by being in my pocket. I can't seem to understand why Google did away with that in ICS.
Now I'm only allowed to use one of the security protocols. If I use a pin to unlock and don't have it set to lock when I turn the screen off myself, then any button will turn it back on and be susceptible to whatever input while in my pocket. While on the flipside, I don't really want to have to put in my pin every time I turn my phone on. I'd rather have it like it was in GB, and hell, the iPhone even does that. Any idea why Google changed that? Anybody else have the same issue?
