Welcome to All
Join +Khris Griffis and +Robert Gibbons to kickstart the Venice Artwalk and Community Celebration by embarking on a photowalk along Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice Beach California. You will be traversing the famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard during the acclaimed 1st Friday Festival, where the streets of Venice will be alive with its unique counterculture along with many travellers. Celebrating community, Venice takes great strides to give back to the people, and for that reason you won’t find any chain or corporate shops here! Moreover, you will be participating in a google sponsored event to raise awareness for the Google +Venice Art Walk & Auctions, which supports the amazing +Venice Family Clinic. Yes, that means you might also get some G+ swag!

What is Abbot Kinney?
Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice is a lovely, pedestrian-friendly street with great local shopping and fun bars; perfect for street and architectural photography. Venice Beach California is known not only as an important hub of artistic inspiration and creativity, but also for its civility. And so the colorful culture of Venice jovially collides, on the 1st friday of each month, in what proves to be a raucously fun time at the heart of the city; Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

Pro bono publico
The revelry continues on the weekend of May 19-20th at the Google sponsored +Venice Art Walk & Auctions benefitting the +Venice Family Clinic. Why support the Venice Family Clinic, you ask? Well, this is why: “Venice Family Clinic's mission is to provide free, quality health care to people in need. Currently, nearly 2,100 individuals – including more than 500 physicians – donate their time, valued at $2 million annually”. The Nitty-Gritty
We will convene on the corner of North Venice Blvd and Abbot Kinney; just look for a group of camera-toting peoples! Parking will be difficult, so carpooling is encouraged. Gear such as tripods and flashes might not be allowed within galleries; so be advised. If you find yourself in any predicament or have question on camera settings, we’re there to help! Lastly, make sure you take down our contact info and team up with another PhotoWalker; Abbot Kinney will be a buzzing and it will be easy to get separated.
