Paul Screwed Up, or, How I Did Research And Learned How To Archive Twitter
They don't really advertise it all that well, but they also offer a free service (The Social Media Plan) that backs up all of your tweets, mentions, and DMs, among other services. If only he had signed up for this before he left the internet! He could have been able to look back at all of the mentions he's missing out on.
Oh well. Break the rules, perhaps? Just to let someone he trusts sign him up for this? I know he didn't want anyone to use the internet for him, but I feel like this could be an understandable exception.
I don't work for these people or anything, but as the crew was saying during the podcast, Twitter should implement a backup feature. Until then, people who care can use a backup service like this one.
