Samsung Completely Slaughtered the Multi-Task Feature on the S3 (Video)

I don't understand why Samsung can't follow Google's Style Guide Policy. There seems to have been no reason for them to remove the task manager button that is supposed to be the standard on all Android phones. Here is a quick look at how you have to get the task manager up on the S3 (forward to 15 secs).

I'm surprised Samsung even included the task manager, I thought they removed it because the button wasn't there any more. At any rate, I'm just really upset with the S3. I've been waiting a long time and I feel completely underwhelmed.

My last hope is that there is a US variant that is different from the European version. Maybe that's what the Vietnamese video was? To show two different versions?

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I've been made aware that this is how the Galaxy S has always done the Multitasking. I didn't know that considering that this is my first S device I'm looking at. My gripe still stands however, because this isn't following the style guide. It's a pet peeve of mine.
