SGSIII design fixed by some simple adjustments
So, I, like most of you, think that the Samsung Galaxy S III is hideous, but I started thinking about what in the design turned me off. I realized it was two things: 1) The home button is not centered in the bottom bezel, and the capacitive buttons on either side are not centered with the home button, and 2) Samsung's choice to put light colored images on the screen does not bode well with the white plastic of the phone's body. I am by no means a photoshopper, but I wanted to try out CS6 so I simply moved the buttons to the center (admittedly just by using my eyes, I don't know how to do it exactly) and swapped out the image on screen to that of stock ICS. The only other thing I might change now would be to make the phone less rounded, as the bezels to the side of the screen widen and narrow, looking odd to the eye. Anyway, here's my photoshop; let me know if you think it looks any better.
For the first time in my life, I actually hope that the american service providers (Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile) change the physical appearance of the device like they have in the past, therefore addressing my main problem with this device.
