xda-developers helpfully cuts through the internet's bullshit distortion field - Samsung Galaxy S3 is better than the HTC One X

*LINK*

Like many I watched the keynote and was instantly disappointed with the design of the Samsung Galaxy S3. I could see lots of positives, but the design didn't blow me away like the hype (and my own expectations) had braced me for.

I then took to the internet to see the Samsung Galaxy S3 getting nailed from EVERY quarter. Everything about the phone was a massive FAIL and the more negativity there was the more negativity it spurned. Criticism got the user a boatload of upvotes and comment displaying anything other was buried in the void of negativity.

The internet bullshit distortion field was at full power and I dutifully got sucked in and joined the band of naysayers. I was a fully paid up member and about to order my new white HTC One X when I came across the link above.

Could it be that the initial disappointment in the design was masking a pretty good phone here? You decide after looking at the facts, and soon enough the phone itself (for instance, build quality criticisms are a current hot topic despite 99% of people not having had the chance to hold the phone yet). For me? I think a cold hard look at the facts has changed my mind. I'm still disappointed that Samsung didn't give us something more visually appealing, but it's clearly the best Android phone released to date.
