Apple quietly introduced a new iPad accessory today, the iPad Smart Case. The new case covers iPads from front to back, but still includes the typical Smart Cover functionality found on the original iPad cover. Made from polyurethane, Apple says the cover will remain thin and light on the iPad and is available in six colors.

The iPad Smart Case is compatible with second- and third-generation iPads, available priced at $49.99 with free laser engraving for online orders.
