Maps in iOS 6 lacks public transportation directions
So the new Maps app looks very pretty and it looks like they really focused on legibility, right down to the font they're using. I don't drive but turn-by-turn looks good, and so does the 3d flyover stuff. However, Apple is not going to have a process where participating cities can provide transit data. Is anyone else really bummed about this? It took years for my city to start pumping transit data into Google's program for this but when they started it really made getting around much easier. At this point my only hope is that Google makes a maps app available on the App Store.
