Looks like Mac OS doesn't support the "retina" resolution - disappointing
According to AnandTech you can't set the display to its native resolution of 2880x1440 on the new MacBook Pro, which is disappointing. I thought since Apple upgraded the screen to this they would include proper support for the new resolution in Mountain Lion. Instead it just scales to a bunch of resolutions from 1024 to 1920, which means that other than the 1440x900 resolution there will always be scaling artifacts.
Not to mention the "lie" about Diablo 3 - if the game isn't actually gonna be running in native resolution why boast about it. (And yes it's possible D3 will in fact use the native resolution, but I also thought it'd be obvious that the OS itself would allow for native res., yet here we are.)
