Windows 7 over OS X (no trolls please)

Hey,

As a longtime Mac user I'm keen to find out what are the key advantages that make Windows 7 a good alternative to OS X.

I've searched the net but the answers are predictably slanted to one side. So, without any trolling, can someone tell me what makes Win7 great?

Please omit the obvious 'openness' appeal, I'm interested in specifically what the OS offers over Lion.

And again, because it cannot be understated, please no fanboys/trolls.
