Discussion: Who needs a MacBook Pro?
Many, like myself, are faced with the decision: Upgraded 13" Air vs MacBook Pro. Personally, I would not purchase the MacBook Pros that include optical drives, but the new Retina MBP is very tempting. I know this comparison has been discussed on the forums, but I would like to discuss this more in relation to how the user uses the machine.
Where is this line drawn?
Does the hobbyist photographer or videographer need a MBP?
Should a heavy internet user that loves tech and beautiful displays get the new MBP?
I know this is very case-by-case, but lets discuss our usage, and analyze what set of components fits us best.
