average phone.
waiting for cm9mod in it because gingerbread is so unreliable.
no chance to play games at all. very limited so called "sd card" storage space. adding an external memory card doesn't make you feel like it has become "bigger". It's just more space for you own files like music and videos. apps? you only can install them on internal storage or the SD card. otherwise you will need to do some storage swapping, in which case you would need to root the phone, or using some apps to link or transfer them away, which is very cumbersome for me. so now I am just contented with that ~2GB space for all my apps. It leaves more storage space even more desirable.
very frequently freezes - lock button is responding, the phone locks and unlocks, but the touchscreen, home button and other buttons are unresponsive. the only solution is to remove the battery and switch it on again, or hold the lock button until it restarts. Therefore, I cannot play games smoothly. Everything lags. My guess is many apps always needs to connect to the internet for data or just chunks of ads, which makes the experience really terrible. No chance to enjoy a game nicely.
software update fixes the soft earpiece, which can be worked around earlier by pressing volume down and then up again to make the voice output louder.
display can be adjusted to very low brightness or very high. it is just the average TFT screen. not exciting at all.
camera is just average. un-stunning.
well, it is perfect for the price, though. for now, maybe you should take out more cash to buy the S advance.
