Next Gen Macbook Pro w/o Retina Display?
If Apple offered the next generation MBP w/o the Retina Display at a lower price, would you consider buying one? I see this more likely to happen than offering a Retina option on regular MacBook Pros because it requires a huge battery to deliver respectable duration and it's Apple's goal to do away with "legacy" storage media like hard drives, optical drives, Firewire and Ethernet ports. That won't happen anytime soon if the entry price is $2200.
