We heard a rumor late last month about Dell preparing a thinner version of the XPS 15 with a few spec improvements like an Ivy Bridge processor and a Gorilla Glass display. This rumor was corroborated yesterday when Dell revealed the new laptop at the Romanian Aviation Museum in honor of the four-year anniversary of the company's partnership with Romanian technology distributor, Asesoft Distribution. This revised version of the Dell XPS 15 is also including a 1080p LCD, options for an Nvidia GT GeForce 630M or 640M, and support for up to 16GB of RAM. It will ship with i5 and i7 processor options, and should be officially released in Q2 of this year for an undisclosed amount.
