Issue involving articles with embedded video
I'm not sure if this is a Chrome issue or an issue with The Verge, but if I leave an article with an embedded video clip (from The Verge, not YouTube) open in a tab for a certain amount of time the audio just spontaneously starts playing. I found that by accident because I was reading the Nuclear Waste article and got caught up in something else before I could finish reading it, so I left it in a tab in the background. Several hours later I get this REALLY super loud sound in the background. At first I thought it was one of those ads with audio, but the more I listened I realized it was the Verge tab... but none of the videos on the tab were playing. Just background audio from one of the clips. I can replicate this issue across several of my computers (Server '08, Win7, OSX), so it shouldn't be just me that's seeing this. Just reporting the issue... :)
