How can I properly read the verge offline?

Hi!

Here's my problem (well, sort of) :

I love the site's layout, but I want ti be able to read it on the go on my iPad. I have been trying pocket, readability and instapaper to read offline but as much as they work well with sites like nyt.com, their algorithms don't really work well with the verge's layout.

I can't leave the pages open in safari either because safari keeps reloading pages, which is very annoying.

Has anyone found a good way to read the site article's on the go? Being able to buffer the videos beforehand would be amazing too. I thought Pocket would do that but apparently thats a no-go.
