LG's Optimus L5 will launch in Europe this month and will have several region-specific features. The 4-inch device, which we previewed at MWC, will feature dual-SIM capabilities in Asia, CIS, the Middle East, and Central and South America, while the European and North American versions of the phone will contain NFC chips. (Strangely, the press release mentions NFC in North America, but otherwise makes no reference to the Optimus L5's availability in the region.) The mid-range L5 runs Android 4.0 with an LG custom skin on an 800MHz Snapdragon processor, and has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. No word yet on price, but the Optimus L5 will be available first in the UK, Germany, and France before rolling out to Asia, the Middle East, and CIS, followed by Central and South America.
