The team behind Sparrow for iPhone has pushed out updates on a pretty regular basis — today, the app has been updated to version 1.3. There's only one change of note, though: Sparrow now supports POP email. This addition came to the Mac version of Sparrow a few weeks ago, so we're not surprised to see it now make its way over to the iPhone as well. Unfortunately, we're still waiting for push notification support, and the addition of POP email is a lot less exciting than the Sparrow for iPad update that appears to be coming sooner or later. Still, we certainly don't mind seeing one of our favorite iOS apps continue to receive regular attention from its developers. The lastest version of Sparrow can be downloaded from iTunes now.
