Dreamcast - a dream about the best gaming console?
A lot of people in this forum are saying, that the best gaming console ever made is Sega's Dreamcast. That made me thinking. I can partially agree with them. Dreamcast was really a good gaming machine, with lots of fun games and some features, that were matched years past its release. Games like Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio are best played with original Dreamcast controller in front of CRT TV, simply because it's the best way to play them.
But was it really a 10/10 machine? For the sort of "mystical" features like internet connection and option to play minigames with your memory cards, that I don't think lot of people even tried, but read a lot about them on the internet? Or are we just trying to make it look better, because it was dumped so early, and, to lot of us, unfairly by Sega? I've thought about this a lot of times, but now with simillar minded group of people here on Verge forums, we can finally put this question to rest.
So, what do you think about Dreamcast?
