The name "Surface"
I know they took it from their touch-table product, but I really like the Surface name for one main reason:
It doesn't suggest a tablet (like X-tab, Skytab, or WinTab, would have) nor does it suggest a laptop (like WinBook, etc.). It's neither, it's both, it's convergence, it's completely new, it's your new surface for (consuming, producing, everything).
