Apple has made software update version 1.2.1 for Thunderbolt available to download from its support page. The release notes say that it adds support for the Thunderbolt Gigabit Ethernet adapter, but since that feature actually came with last week's software version 1.2 we're hoping the new update fixes the issues seen by some users. These problems were serious in many cases, including kernel panics and hung bootups, so it'd make sense for Apple to get on top of them as quickly as possible. Still, worried users might want to wait for widespread confirmations of safety before updating this time around. Already taken the plunge? Please let us know your experiences in the comments!
