Do Consumers Really Care about Display Resolution?
I've noticed this to be the one of the primary arguments regarding Surface amongst the Apple folks. No one can argue that iPad has a bright and beautiful screen, but I just don't think your average consumer really has "High Res Screen" on their check list; except for maybe HD vs non HD.
Point being, that for the average consumer HD is HD and the actual difference between "Full HD" and "Retna" is pretty much lost on them.
